When using a BVM on a patient with COPD, do you use 10-15 Lpm if they’re on a set amount of O2? For example, if the patient has written orders for 2 lpm of O2 through nasal cannula and you are needed to use a BVM, do you use 2 lpm on the BVM or 10-15 lpm?

If a pt is going into cardiac arrest on an ambulance, should you pull over to put on the AED and analyze rhythm and then continue to hospital?
