I think it's great having another delightfully sick and twisted person to share shop talk with! My BF is an EMT-I and is in RN school, I'm a basic trying to go for my medic, and its so nice not having to explain things, or who can understand when you get a certain sick and twisted glee out of calls..

it wasnt mandatory to wear, but we had to have a size that ( almost ) fit the crew in the truck at all times... one for the EMT, one for the medic.

The service i worked for in pittsburgh issued it to us, but they always thought it funny when i would put it on, bunker gear doesnt come in kids sizes...

ok, it now thoroughly scares me that you're SOOOO interested in seeing that.... :shock:

There are wonderful things called drive cams, the EMS place in pittsburgh I worked for had them, and you gotta be REALLY careful about your driving, there were penalties for setting them off. also, I've seen a drive cam video of a florida ambulance that blew a red light running hot, hit a car, and the driver of the car was cited for failure to yield, never mind the idiot who blew through the light....
