Here in Michigan i do not know of any service that does not pay 24 out of 24.

Never call inservice unless you can respond now i would keep a log on what she is doining so you can cover yourself and why is she still working at your company i have learned in 25 years of ems service to make sure my butt is covered.

I THINK THAT THE NREMT IS A JOKE ONE OF MY CO WORKERS TOOK IT AND WENT TO A STATE THAT WANTED YOU TO HAVE IT THEY STILL WANTED HIM TO TAKE A 10 WEEK CLASS AND TAKE THERE STATE EXAM SO AS FAR AS I CAN SEE IT DOES NOTHING I HAVE HEARD OTHER STATES ARE THE SAME THEY WILL TAKE THE NREMT BUT YOU STILL HAVE TO TAKE THERE EXAX I THOUGHTTHE NREMT WAS SO YOU WOULD NOT HAVE TO TEST IN OTHER STATES YOU COULD GO TO WORK

I do not think making ems a two or four year program is a good idea

here in michigan the pay is very low at my company emt starts @ about

$7.00hr and a medic about $8.00hr sometimes a bit higher we cant get people to do ems the more people hear what ems makes the more

people are not getting into it we have alot of people going back to school

in the fall to get out of ems making it a 2-4 year degree will just hurt ems.

i do not see the wages going up anytime soon it has taken me 23years to

make what i do per hour thats sad.
