we recently responded to a 1 car mva, the driver in the car ended up with severe head trauma, he was unconcious in the car for more than three hours, the temperature outside was only 19 degrees, i seriously think if not for the cold that kid would have died, hes still not out of the woods but coldness was a good thing in this case

I live right in the middle of the piute atv trail, yep most of our calls are atv accidents, sometimes it takes us a good 2 hours to get to the patient and even longer to get them off the mountains, we have had more accidents and more serious injuries than we have ever seen before.

We had this kind of issue with one of our employees, he had to go to the state board of EMS with our director to be able to run on the ambulance, he ended up being put on probation as long as he does not get any more run ins with the law, and he has to check in with the state board of EMS once a year.
