Capt. Anthony Phillip "Tony" Cox, 44, of Topeka, a 21-year veteran of the Topeka Fire Department, died Monday, August 13, 2007, after battling a fire in an apartment complex in southwest Topeka. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Monday in Landon Arena at the Kansas Expocentre. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Tony will lie in state from noon to 9:00 p.m. Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, where the family will receive friends from noon to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tony Cox Memorial Fund and sent in care of Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road, Topeka 66610. I am just curious if anyone has ever herniated a disc or discs and continues to work post treatment? What was your treatment and was the injury from a specific trauma or cumulative? Thanks

PS, MED-ACT had an influx of Vegas medics about 5/6 years ago. It's nice not having to sit in the ER's with a patient on your cot for 4 hours because of divert.
