personally I say we get rid of all prescription drug advertising...way too many people are going to doctors offices saying "well I saw on this commercial that if I have these signs I should take this", not to mention with the cost of advertising it is jacking up the prices of the drugs for everyone.

O'Reilly should've hit him with the chair he was sitting in....although it wouldnt be the first time that fool Geraldo would've had that happen to him...Too bad we cant deport him!

For me to get my EMT-B at the community college here it's cost me:
Tuition- $598 for 7 semester hours (including clinicals & CPR)
Books- $65 (thank god for Amazon.com....highly recommend it! found all the current required texts at almost half off what the college bookstore was gonna cost me)
And all of the above is being paid for using my GI Bill from my time spent in the Army 8)

Hi everyone, John here. Just wanted to drop in and introduce myself as I am new to the site.
I am getting ready to start college and am enrolled in the Emergency Medical Services degree program here in Virginia Beach at Tidewater Community College. If everything goes right I will have my EMT-B certification by the middle of July.
I spent 2 yrs as a Sheriff's Reserve Deputy in NM and then 8 yrs in the Army where I was in the Armor branch as an M1 tank crewman and Infantry branch where I was a ground pounder and was trained as a Combat Lifesaver while serving on 4 deployments (1 time in the sandbox of Kuwait and 3 tours in Bosnia as a peacekeeper). After leaving the military I joined the US Department of Homeland Security as a federal officer (looking for bombs and IED's) until I recently left that in order to begin school to gain my EMT-B, EMT-I, and EMT-P.
I love helping people as much as I can and am seriously excited about my new choice of career paths.
