I have to agree to this post LOL. The part that I like is that they put medic unit, they didn't put that the "ambulance drivers" we treated and released.

Firefighter/ EMS Deputy Chief from PA. Loving working in the EMS field but really think that we need to paid more than a McDonalds clerk, but i guess that my own opinion. I've been working EMS for 5 years now and am looking forward to progressing my career to the PHRN

That is kinda strange though being able to carry narc on your person. We have the double lock system like they were talking about previously. We have a master lock they added in addition to the regular lock that was on the door whenever the ambulance was made. I dont know how everyone else does it but our medics have to sign off all narcs before starting the shift also. But as for like our lasix and stuff along those lines they are just in a drug box with a regular snap off lock. I dont understand that one. O well....

I like it whenever you finally for once show up for work early and they just make you start working an hour before shift start because they are so busy... Or whenever you get called to dispatch and they are actually nice to you.. Then you know something is up lol
