Depends on what the disease is, some you can't tell anyone that the patient has it. Here in my region we have alpha/numeric pagers, easy to send information on.

I work 48 on one week, 48 on 48 off then 24 the next week, for a 60 hour ave per pay period.

So if you can go to war and die when your 18 why not lower the drinking age, or raise the legal age of joining the military to 21?

i'm in central calif the company i work for starts in the $8.00 range and tops out at $10.31, but you work a full time 60 hour week. last year i made appx 42k.

when i worked for the local county fire 18years worth it was pcf for fires, mvc and psa's and standbys, and nonpaid for medicalaids. my full time paid job was retail lumber sales. now full time local ems.

Forgot if you live near the station and can make the response times you can go home. Other wise its stay with the unit.

At our service we work a set schedule one week is 48 on one or two days off work a 24. The next week work 48, off for 5 days unless you pick up ot. My days are Tuesday and Wednesday and everyother Saturday. We have stations like houses each one has at least two bedrooms, kitchens, showers, dish tv and internet. Response times are 1 minute between 0700-1900, 2 minutes 1900-0700.
