Hi New to the site. I am Kristine, Paramedic in Prince Georges County Maryland. Never heard of huh? Well we border DC on three sides. Fire Based EMS, many of us are cross/trained FF/Medics. I have been a medic for 15 years a FF for 10 of those years. We run a preety good call volume busiest medic unit runs about 7000 calls a year..Department runs about 170,000 calls a year thats ems/fire combined...never see the fire truck, once you are a seasoned medic you will never see the inside of a rig again....Also work PT for the medical examiner doing death investigations as a Forensic Investigator....
