Do You Dream About Work?

Recommended Posts

Other than the rare nightmare, I never really dream about work. I have had tonnes of dreams about school, even decades after graduation. But not about work.

Now I only dream of large-breasted brunettes.... Excellent trade off. 8)

We'd make great partners. We wouldn't ever have to worry about competing for the same women! :D

Everyone I've ever talked to about dreams mentioned dreaming about work from time to time. It's such a big chunk of our lives. I dream about my current job and even jobs I've had years ago. Within the last couple of weeks I've dreamed about being back in the Army, doing pill call at the prison and even running calls with the fire department. Your dreams may often incorporate events in your life so it's not unusual at all.

I do dream about calls, some past/realistic, some completely off the wall that are unlikely to ever happen. I don't worry that I am crazy or obsessed. I have read that dreaming is your mind preparing its self for a possible situation, or processing what did happen. There is a good website by Montreal's Sacré-Coeur Hospital Dream and Nightmare Laboratory that is very informative if you get a chance to check it out.
