Jobs in the oilfield

That is something you tend not to ever think of. Safety on the rigs are very good in the last bunch of years. The last "major" problem was more than 8 years ago.

Working on a rig (bear in mind, there are diffirent types) is according me is safer than working on the road. A rig is one thing, a platform is something completely different.

Regards

I would be very surprised if you're still looking for work...however; if you are and you're interested in working in N. Alberta send me an email and I'll hook you up. A lot of the municpal EMS services are hiring as well. Lots of opportunity for us up here in the North.

There is also a contract starting up next April. Schedule will be something like 3 weeks in 2 weeks out in the Yukon. Flights will be out of Edmonton (and paid for). Last I heard EMT pay scale is around the $300/day mark plus sub.

Give me a shout if you're interested.
