Can I buy/keep a BVM at home for family emergency use?

 

I am a Basic and have training on the BVM.

I think that would depend on your State regulations.

In the UK yes absolutely - as long as it falls within your normal scope of practice it’s OK to keep a BVM and  use the skill in an off duty scenario. I. America - who knows, suggest you talk to other local EMTs
