Prehospital initiated hypothermia in cardiac arrest

There are some notable limitations to this study (that are discussed within the article). However, it is interesting to note that prehospital cooling didn't lead to a faster time to temperature nor did it seem to affect outcome.

More study, as always is the case, is warranted.

I'm sure you already saw this. Retrospective analysis vs randomized trial...132 patients vs 1359... :devil: Therapeutic hypothermia isn't necessarily dead, but I think (based on other info) that just keeping them from getting hyperthermic or even slightly cool is plenty.
