Richard B the EMT
Back to "Whale Down"...Couldn't you use the phrase "Additional Manpower Required"?
island emt
We were working with providers from 4 different states that came in to work these major events and they all understood the meaning. We could have, but the universal Whale down' was much easier to understand. We could also have used morbidly obese pile of adipose tissue or someone the size of three normal beings or guy's the size of a 2 car garage. or bring the 20 foot straps ,cause the 9 footers won't make it sorry if our vernacular struck home but if you don't offend at least 1 person a day in this job, your not trying hard enough. Richard B the EMT
Rule 57: If it feels good saying it, expect to be written up by your supervisor for saying it. Been there, done that, lost another vacation day.
island emt
But I was the supervisor, & my partner owned the company. Since my partner came up with the phrase ::: ALL was good.
