I have a deeply personal story, in relation to what would become an unsecured body, bouncing around, and causing damage. I would honestly, probably start crying if I recalled the whole incident. What sticks out the most in my mind during the 1hr+ extrication of a victim. I asked asked a driver who was secured, "What did you hit your head on". The driver stated: "her head". Passenger was sleeping in the back seat, ended up essentially crushing every bone, head to lower legs, crumpled up between the dash and front pass. seat. I knew her my whole life, sad, worst part about being "smal town". There were other elements of the accident, the other vehicle, which made it a very difficult run. In sixteen years, it was the worst accident I've ever tended to, even so many years later, I'm still not open to put that on the WWW.

That's the video, though I don't remember the interesting music in the background. That sounds like a rough scene to have to deal with 1C. Some things will always stay with you, especially when it involves someone you know.

Oh young padawan, you have much to watch to learn the ways of the medical jedi. You should begin your training soon and not stop until you have completed all 3 series (you don't need to complete ER, as long as you make it to the episode with Doug Ross in the helicopter, after that it's pretty much no better than Grey).

You're welcome. I'd also recommend Trauma: Life in the ER as well as Paramedics, both of which were pre-HIPAA TLC shows.

I can back up ERDoc on these. Love those shows, as they minimize the drama and just present the cases as they are. They run occasionally on Discovery Fit & Health.
