Fenta
Please clarify Summer Biathlon, am familiar with winter Olympic biathlon. Summer biathlon is a minority sport in Germany. We run optionally on summer skis or with sneakers. The rules are similar to the normal biathlon. I prefer to run with sneakers, because I had in 2007 a torn ACL on Duty and have some problems since the ACL replacement with rotation movements. Stubs
Technical Rescue!!! I call it my Hobby. I have my own tower in the back yard to keep up and adapt new rigging skills. I honestly have more Gear than our Rescue Trailer when it comes to ropes and rigging. On top of that, Camping, Boy Scouts and anything outdoors! Richard B the EMT
Obviously, some here consider EMS a hobby, others do not.

paramedicmike
A hobby is a leisure activity. Do the people we serve really need someone who treats their care as a leisurely pursuit? EMS and health care are not hobbies. It is a professional activity that deserves professional attention.
