Hey everyone, my name is Matt and I just recently enrolled in a EMT Basic class that starts in September. I am 29 years old and have been working as a mid-level manager for a good size corporation for the past 8 years. While I enjoy my current profession, I have always been interested in doing more and helping others. I cannot think of any other profession that would be as gratifying and interesting then working as a EMT and Paramedic (down the road).

Currently in the middle of making some huge changes in my life, but I am excited about the new path I am about to take! Some of my favorite hobbies include; competing in triathlons, boating, and scuba diving.

Matt

Keep your doors open. The money on a Basic and even on the Advance Levels in Prehospital Care can be dismal. However, shoot for the stars. Do what makes you happy. Money doesn't always bring happiness... Continue the studies after the EMT; it is barely the surface in Medicine or in this case Prehospital Care... Best of luck...
