Passing of Cutknife EMS EMR

Recommended Posts

Sorry this is a little late, being without a laptop sucks. Copied from the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics website. He was driving an Anhydrous Ammonia truck that rolled. Luckily there were no other injuries. For those who don't know Cutknife is in the Prairie North Health Region, about 45 minutes SW of North Battleford (about an hour and fifteen minutes NW of Saskatoon)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rick Wyatt, aged 58, of Cut Knife, Saskatchewan. He lost his life due to a motor vehicle accident at Neilburg, Saskatchewan on May 28, 2011. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Ann, three daughters, and their families, his father and two sisters.

Rick was an EMR and a valuable member of our Ambulance crew in Cut Knife since February 1998. He could always be counted on to take on-call shifts and the week-ends when no one else wanted them. He was also an active member of the community, always donating his time to some worthwhile cause, He was a member of the Elks and a member on the fire and rescue team in Cut Knife.

The past few years Rick had worked for the Co-op Farm Supply in Neilburg, but still managed to work the extra shifts with Ambulance. His passions were spending time with his family, working with the ambulance service and riding his Harley.

He was well known far and wide and will be greatly missed by his family, co-workers, the community and everyone whose lives he touched.
