Sunbeam Steam Iron:

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE

Use iron only for its intended use.

To protect against risk of electric shock, do not immerse the iron in water or other liquids.

• The fabric select dial and steam lever should always be turned to “O/Off” before plugging or unplugging from out let. Never yank cord to disconnect from outlet; instead, grasp plug and pull to disconnect.

• Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces. Let iron cool completely before putting away. Loop cord loosely around iron when storing.

• Always disconnect iron from electrical outlet when filling with water or emptying and when not in use.

• Do not operate iron with a damaged cord or if the iron has been dropped or damaged. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble the iron. Take it to an authorized service center for examination and/or repair. Incorrect reassembly can cause a risk of electric shock when the iron is used.

• Close supervision is necessary for any appliance being used by or near children. Do not leave iron unattended while plugged in or turned on or on an ironing board.

Burns can occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water or steam. Use caution when you turn a steam iron upside down – there may be hot water in the reservoir.

• If the iron is not operating normally, disconnect from the power supply and have the iron serviced by an authorized service center. Or call Customer Service at 800-458-8407.

• Your SUNBEAM® iron is designed to rest on the heel rest. Do not leave the iron unattended. Do not set the iron on an unprotected surface, even if it is on its heel rest.

Food Processor:

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR YOUR SUNBEAM FOOD PROCESSOR.

Always use extreme care when handling processing blades and cutting discs. These are extremely sharp and may cause injury if handled incorrectly. Always store processing blades and cutting discs in their respective covers or processing containers.

• Unplug from power outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off attachments, and before cleaning.

• Do not put hot liquids into the food processor bowl or blender. Warm liquids only.

Avoid contacting moving parts at all times.

• Place the processor bowl onto the base of the processor before fitting any attachments.

All blades and attachments should be removed with care before cleaning.

• Do not over fill the processor.

• Do not process for longer than the time periods recommended in the operating chart.

Always remove the blade before emptying the processor bowl of its contents.

• Do not operate for more than 2 minutes at a time when processing heavy loads. None of the recipes in this manual are considered a heavy load.

Can we say "DUH!"?

Re eating an iPOD Shuffle, there is a Youtube video of a woman, Heather Holliday,if memory serves, who is supposed to be the youngest professional sword swallower, attempting to swallow an MP3 player. Due to how light the device is, she cannot do it. Also, I have seen this particular sword swallower at the Coney Island "Museum".

I bought a book of warning labels at Borders.. Funny stuff, I went around putting them on things. Put one in the post office on my box that says something to the effect of "The harder you slam the door, the likelihood of getting junk mail increases".
