New Paramedic

Hey everybody -

New paramedic working for rural service in Missouri. My interests lie in EMS and critical care, looking forwards to taking CCEMTP in July and FP-C eventually. I tend to be a lurker, but it looks like you all have some decent discussions going.

Take care,

Prmedc

Hey man, welcome to the City!!

There are some great conversations that happen here, that's for sure. I wasn't clear though if you're saying that you are a new paramedic or a paramedic new to EMTCity?

Either way we're happy to have you! Though in my opinion the site has limited value when lurking. Jump in brother...You'll be glad you did.

Merry Christmas!

Dwayne

Just curious, and you don't have to answer if you don't want to, is West Plains a Cox, or St. John's town? Or do you have your own service there?

We are a public "third service" covering West Plains and the southern half of the county - St. Johns covers the northeast portion of the county. We have several employees that work for both services.

As for the "new medic" bit, I guess the answer would be both, lol. I've only been licensed for eight months.

Well now, a new paramedic service down in the hood. Hey Rookie, ever lost anyone yet on the way to the hospital? What was it like?

P.S Rookie I sure wish you would send my telescope back to me, there is something in the southeast sky between 5:30am and sunrise that I would like to look at.

It is getting brighter and it is not Betelgeuse going supernova.
