The scenario's posted here are rarely "run of the mill" calls, therefor "run of the mill" treatments are not accepted. Four lead EKG and run a strip to check for cardiac issues. What kind of changes are you looking for with a 4 lead? Have a line ready to go in case he codes Is that the only reason for an IV? LOAD and GO Based on....? have LE accompany you in the back enroute in case the patient becomes violent So... are you talking about wrestling this patient in a moving ambulance?
