I know in CA that there are laws to protect whistle blower. However I do not know what kind of laws there are in other states... I agree totally it will make people afraid to tell in fear of losing their liscense and their jobs and face jail time. itku2er Posted February 11, 2010 Share Posted February 11, 2010 Well being a nurse it scares me to think that this could happen. I have been involved in a case but I wasnt the one that blew the whistle on this Doctor. But its still scary to think that when I told what I knew it could have cost me my liscense and possible jail time. I been thinking really hard since I read this post and we discussed it in chat, is the truth worth losing everything you have worked for all those years?
