Why? I understand the innocent until proven guilty in court... but I don't think the service has to follow that. The fact that they were arrested, and this occurred while on duty, should be enough grounds for termination.

Not in a government job, and certainly not in a Canadian government job.

Suspension -- usually with pay -- is the best they can do in the short term. And I would bet that, even if they are eventually terminated, the union lawyers will appeal it until your great grandchildren are old and grey.

All I can think of here is George Costanza in this case. "Was that wrong? Should I not have done that? I tell you, I gotta plead ignorance here because if anyone had said anything to me at all when I first started here that that sort of thing is frowned upon..." LMFAO!

Hey: Do you need education on personal safety for your industry.

OR how much off IF you bring your own BED ?

Damn, I misread it. I thought the women were the ones being accused of unprofessional conduct.

They should be. If they were true professionals they wouldn't have "interfered" with another professional's duties.
