Here in Austin we have several couples that work here. The city is completely okay and the employees like because then a husband doe not have to insure his wife or vice versa because we get it for free. My wife works here, she started almost 2 years to the day after I did. She is not in the field, she is a dispatcher. This is the most common relationship here but there are a few couples that are field medics. They are not allowed to be on the same ambulance together, but could work same station, same shifts etc.
