i just take my medical tricorder in to the scene. Diagnosis and treatment all in one convenient 4 x 8 inch package.

Total geekage. Incidentally, they are really cheap on eBay.

...we in Germany have a circulation trunk "Kreislaufkoffer" and a respiration trunk "Atmungskoffer"...

...in the the circulation trunk is everythink for circulation ( infusions, vein neadles[ do you call it like this?], dressingmaterial, blood sugar things and things so on)...

...in the respiration trunk is oxygen ( I think 10 liter) everthing for intubation, suck off pump ( I dont find the english word)...and everything else for oxygen...

....then we take the portable ECG with us....

...for kids up to 8 years we have a special kids trunk...

Too damn much, and the more stairs the more superfluous some of it seems.

Yeah, we get to carry all that crap up the stairs, but then the hero firemonkeys arrive just in time to carry it down for us. And the patient too, if we're lucky! :)

trunk = jump bag

vein neadles = IV

suck off pump = vacuum pump

Suck off pump in english will be looked at as bad sex talk.
