Brentoli, work your "Snopes" contact to find out about this one I have heard about for years.

Lone person walks into a bank, pulls his handgun, and announces that it was a robbery. 25 people in the bank lobby turn to him, and pull their own handguns, covering him, and placing him under arrest.

Supposedly, per the story, the poor mope tried robbing a bank across the street from the local police station, sheriffs department, troopers barracks, or FBI Field Office, when the LEOs were all in the bank cashing or depositing their paychecks!

I do know that this was a minor plot device in a Chuck Norris movie (Dust, feel free to chime in on that).
