Am I reading that all supplies, lodging, food, and equipment are provided for the course? Would we be allowed to bring any of our own gear?

The course pricing is inclusive of tuition, lodging, meals and course materials. Tuition is due upon course registration. Lodging and meals fees are due no later than the 1600 hour briefing on Day Zero, the Sunday evening prior.

Tactical Element highly encourages course participants to bring and utilize equipment and gear which is conducive of their duties. On the same note, aid kits on are site for those who do not bring their own. Remember... how you train is how you perform!

Thanks for the clarification. I wasn't sure if the supplied materials meant we couldn't bring our own gear. Does the TMO course include live fire?

I thought I remembered reading on this site about your course that participants need to bring x amount of frangible ammunition and all tactical gear including duty weapon. Since I dont own a vest, etc, would these be provided an if so are they prohibitively expensive? And though it is not my duty sidearm, is an XD .40 allowed for use?

It says required weapons and ammo will be supplied by Tactical Element at the bottom of the course description pages.
