Hello and thank you for allowing me to join this community! My name is Clint and I am looking to get experience to get my foot in the door with a private security career. I do not have prior military or LE experience so I humbly come to ask for any and all advice on this issue. Through much thought, I have come to the conclusion that I really do need military experience so that I may properly recieve and retain training for the future. I have also taken an interest in the medical side of the military for the sake of wanting to learn the skillsets for myself as well as it helping me get into private security after the military. I welcome all advice on my train of thought so far, my main question is, what would you recommend as far as what to apply for in the military that would help me get my foot in the door in private security? I would needed much combat experience and I do believe that strong medical training would make me more valuable in the private sector. Should I be looking at applying to become an army medic? Again, I lack much experience and knowledge on this, so I welcome all advice and wisdom from you. Thank you!
