  1. Kewl...I get to be Snoopy also!
  2. Try telling the 300 plus members I have, most of whom are public safety folks that they can't use GMRS. With a license and repeaters, its a wonderful tool to communicate with family and friends. And we all have licenses..... www.laggroup.com Figured I'd open up this thread again. Thanks AI4ME for your support of the licensing aspect. One gets the license if one wants the FULL benefits of GMRS.
  3. "We've got a Flopper at the Whopper"... i.e. Seizure at Burger King. That one was good... or even better: Late PM shift, police dispatcher somehow keys up her radio and throws a dead key. After a couple of mins, they start talking. "Wow! Its really f^%$##* dead out there. Those a$$*&^($ must be out at the tittie bar!" Funny thing, nobody called them on the phone for another good 5 min. while they continued to bad mouth every cop, one by one.
  4. I guess I have no class...if it stinks, I put my shirt up over my nose...
  5. Typically, I have seen a GREEN rotating or flashing light which indicates a command post, and likewise a flag in the area that says "CP" on it. Announcement of the location of the CP is also appropriate. Thats one of those things that needs to be dealt with in the pre-planning stage. I believe the green light thing is in NIMS, but I can't be sure. Should be something obvious.
