  1. well, tonight is the night. first night on the job. first real "live" opportunity to put my skills and training to use. i am pretty nervous. i'll get through it. we all went through this before....right??
  2. actually we get to drive a "loaded" cushman scooter with a flashing light and a siren on it. these things are sweet. it will be hard not to wreck it with all the milf's around.
  3. there's even 9 hrs. of water rescue training. i hope it's not too intense. i can barely swim enough to save myself. i'm not a lifeguard , i'm an emt!
  4. well, tomorrow is the big day. first day on the job at cedar point. i need to get certified by THEM also just to work there. 45 hours of training! who would have known. well it should be a fun summer.
  5. you are correct, and a poorly paid carny. oh well, at least a get a free pass.
  6. dumb question... what's the difference between a wanker and a wannabe?? or are they virtually the same?
  7. almost forgot, they offered me a post at "soak city". this is the giant waterpark inside the main amusement park. some food for thought.
  8. i am doing this just as a part-time gig, for some extra cash. ending pay is $8.25 an hour. eye candy = PRICELE$$.
  9. the woman who hired me, said i would be VERY busy. they have a waterpark, the main park, two hotels, and an indoor waterpark inside one of the hotels. they also hire medics, firefighters, and have their own police force. the place is huge!
  10. any of you guys ever worked at an amusement park as an emt or medic?? just curious, i just got hired as an emt-b at cedar point. i am also just newly certified so i am quite nervous! what do i have to look forward to?
