  1. Yes, I was looking for the percentage of time that you are doing CPR/min, taking into consideration of placing a tube, ect. What I was looking for was what other departments fraction times are. We too use the LifeNet and Code Stat summary. We review every arrest and we started out with a fraction time of 65% and after 2 years we are in the high 80's to low 90's for both BLS and ALS. So you dont have to name you department, just looking to see if other programs track this and what are the numbers. Thank you
  2. I was doing some research and wanted to know if anyone is collecting CPR fraction time and Peri shock times? If you do and you do not mind sharing your information, please post it. Thank you I appreciate it.
  3. Zebras or no zebras, in normally healthy young adults that have a syncopel episode with seizure a prudent Medic would not just rule out faking, even though it might be. One thing to consider is IHSS. If you have not seen this in a patient just look in the news of young High School athletes dropping dead on the field or Basketball court. My point here is don’t rush to put a patient in a certain category, but use your skills and tools to rule out the potentially lethal issues first.

  5. On another thought that the patient had a vagal response due to the stress and had a syncopel episode followed by a hypoxic seizure. That would explain the vital signs and no postictal period.
  6. Was able to get my department to sign us up and man the depth of the classes both Paramedic and EMT is amazing and the best part the Paramedic corner where you can ask question to Dr Kudenchuck and Dr Eisenberg both experts in resuscitation. Thank you for all of your input.
  7. Thank you I called them and have set up a guest account and I must admit i'm very impressed with the high level of training, both BLS and ALS. I will give you an update on my experience there. By the way I talked to Michelle at EMS Online and she told me that they will be soon offering individual accounts .
  8. Does anyone have any experience with emsonline.net produced by King County for EMT CE? It appears to be a high quality training site with some very impressive names attached to it? Looking to get some some insight before we buy. Thank you
