What happens with a 1-1/2" water line for the sprinkler system bursts.....an EMS lab filled with lots of water and happy students thinking they have no class. Ha! Welcome to practicing in water like out on the streets with the bugs crawling on your back!

Another Medic class starts....so far, great interest and participation. Even through the Preparatory. Wow.

Isn't is amazing how teaching OB/GYN is easy when your daughter just gave birth at 30 weeks and everything is going great in the NICU. Not even once on oxygen, kicking/crying/shitting....all the good stuff!

Let the games begin...new paramedic class...let's see...military guy, shy gal, stubborn guy, a 'dude', a know it all, someone I don't know how to classify...oh well, sounds like the typical patient(s) you would see in a street shift......

Concering where I teach at....Western Iowa Tech in Sioux City. Offer Associates Degree as Paramedic. Paramedic class is 2 semesters long, starts in late August and finishes in May. With other credits involved, total time is 2 years. You can call about program to the WITCC EMS Office, 712-274-8733 ext. 1286 and speak with program director. I teach tuesdays and thursdays 2pm-10pm, so gotta get to class. In the start of cardiology with the students. Keep me posted on how you are doing. I check the 'city' at least once a day for posts. Good luck!

Just keep plugging away and prioritize your study time and READ. If you have the drive and patience, you can get thru it.
