I live in Taylor, can I take your job when you leave? Lol. I'm actually trying for Hart EMS. They'll be closer once I'm at Wayne State University. But yeah, I consider HVA as the "cream of the crop" in EMS in our area, so you're right in making that your goal company. If I'm not mistaken, they have the PS2's in the back of the ped buses, or maybe that's Rapid Response.

Not to hijack, but what is required in California, specifically LA County, for EMT-B's. I tried to look at their site for it, but couldn't find anything comprehensive about the procedures for reciprocity.

Hey everyone, I was just curious what you all think the most common calls for EMS are on Halloween? Do you have a particular call that you remember on this day?

WCCCD for me is Wayne County Community College District in Wayne County, Michigan. I actually just finished that EMT-B class last summer. It is very hard to study with that study guide because the answers are multiple choice, and a lot of times what you think one of the answers are happens to not be an option. Your best bet is to remember your PT Assesment, and your steps. Ask yourself these questions: "What do I do first?" "What is going to kill this patient first?" I had Vanderline and Pichan and man, they're a blast.

Someone has aggression issues, either that or 'roid rage.

To add on: If you have not done so within the year, a TB will need to be done and you will need documentation. This of course is from my experience as a Michigan EMT student

Caps lock is not cruise control for cool. Anyways, I agree, I would be skeptical about anything that was rushed to be made "acceptable".

I know for sure EMT-Bs can administer oxygen, place oral and nasal airways, as well as combitubes. Not sure what else.
