For Item Number 1: Okay well that is just odd but I can see how some one who thinks they have everything probably does not have white rhino crap... so it would be the perfect gift for some one who has everything.
As for Item Number 2: I say that you must be insanely stupid to believe that someone is going to sell the breast implants.

I Work for one company and Volly with another. The company that I work for is what most would call the evil empire or what I call AMR. THey have a great camaraderie and we work great together. If we have had arough shift then we will go to someones house and forget about it. We all help each other out even if there is not a chance of payment or anything like that and I am talking out of work.
On the flip side the company that I volly for is the exact opposite they all back stab and the sups bitch over the smallest things.

I am still pretty new to the field but I think that experience needs to be gained by a basic on a 911 Car before he/she goes on to medic school. But on the flip side of the coin I also think that a Basic should work a BLS car that is not in the 911 system also to gain respect for the scut that also comes with the job. I have been an EMT for a little over two months now and am contemplating either becoming an EMT-I or going straight into medic school. I think that no matter what decision that I make I will be better at either EMT-I or EMT-P because of the time that I spent on a 911 rig with an experienced medic that cared enough to take me under his wing and teach me. But I also think that I will have a large amount of respect for the EMT-B's because of the time that I had to spend doing the scut patrol before I went on a 911 Car.

The one company that I work for that does paper charting still requires bold pen tip and black ink. Other than that the others that I volly for use computer charting which IMO is much better

You might be a EMT if waking up at 0200 to the sound of tones is a normal experience.
You might be an EMT if you hear the SCREEEEEEEEEEECH and Crunch and are out the door before dispatch even has the call in the shoot.
You might be an Paramedic if you start talking anatomy in your sleep. (One of My Medics does this all night long)
Hey what happened here I clicked on Post reply and I get Post new thread

At a recent computer expo (COMDEX), Bill Gates reportedly compared the computer industry with the auto industry and stated: "If GM had kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we would all be driving $25 cars that get 1,000 to the gallon."
In response to Bill's comments, General Motors issued a press release (From Mr. Welch himself): "If GM had developed technology like Microsoft, we would all be driving cars with the following characteristics:"
1. For no reason whatsoever, your car would crash twice a day.
2. Every time they repainted the lines on the road, you would have to buy a new car.
3. Occasionally your car would die on the freeway for no reason, and you would just accept this, restart and drive on.
4. Occasionally, executing a maneuver such as a left turn, would cause your car to shut down and refuse to restart, in which case you would have to reinstall the engine.
5. Only one person at a time could use the car, unless you bought "Car95" or "CarNT." But then you would have to buy more seats.
6. Macintosh would make a car that was powered by the sun, reliable, five times as fast, and twice as easy to drive, but would only run on five percent of the roads.
7. The oil, water temperature and alternator warning lights would be replaced by a single "general car fault" warning light.
8. New seats would force everyone to have the same size butt.
9. The airbag system would say "Are you sure?" before going off.
10. Occasionally for no reason whatsoever, your car would lock you out and refuse to let you in until you simultaneously lifted the door handle, turned the key and grab hold of the radio antenna.
11. GM would require all car buyers to also purchase a deluxe set of Ran McNally Road maps (now a GM subsidiary), even though they would immediately cause the car's performance to diminish by 50% or more. Moreover, GM would become a target for investigation by the Justice Department.
12. Every time GM introduced a new model, car buyers would have to learn how to drive all over again because none of the controls would operate in the same manner as the old car.
13. You'd press the "start" button to shut off the engine.

We were taught that you should strap on the same side. Then our local protocols require that we lower him on to the LSB and then release the leg straps and c-spine the patient to the bored with an X across the chest and on across the pelvis.
Now on a side note during our practical exam one of my partners was in the KED and we lifted and rotated him on to the LSB the lead then proceeded to pull his legs down with out undoing the grain straps the guy had a voice about an octave higher after that.
