    You sure you don't work at my company?????? The the same shit they would say! I have my own "acquired" gloves... and just tonight I noticed all my NRB masks and all but 1 nasal canula was missing in the truck, i have no clue what daylight did with them... and of course I notice it mid emergency, because of course we got sent out on a transport... :roll:

    If a patient refuses I usually ask them at least 2 more times "you sure you don't want to go to the hospital". I tell them if they change there mind to call 911. I have never forced a refusal on someone, I have transported them to a closer hospital due to traffic or close to end of shift.

    Sounds like my company, they give you a transport and you tell them it will be 10 minutes cause you have to change the "M" cylinder and they get all huffy and puffy with you. I have gotten burned on scene because of this, the company doesn't realize taht it makes YOU look bad not them.

    I have never heard of this, we don't have to check up on them, they call us at least once every two weeks. The old couple is the best, cause they alternate every week, one week its her the other its him, Iamb waiting for the day its both of them at same time.

    I heard good news today here. AMR here in Pittsburgh's official last day is December 31st, they are not making a profit. Bad management. They really never had a chance here, this is an EMS rich area.

    Thats uncalled for! I heard people get into fist fights over stuff here before in the aisles of Walmart. I have only worked once during black friday, wasn't too busy, that was the morning I came home and an hour later we had an apartment building fire, now a lovely empty lot, it was a person shopping and there faulty lamp burned building down.

    Required here in the trucks, but I have never used it before, as a matter of fact, I just got a rid of 2 tubes a few months ago that were expired. I have seen it used in our children's hospital transfers, looks nasty.

    Well, I would like to thank the people on here that DO KNOW ME and who I am, Kiwi, defib, I appreciate it. I like how some pu$$y who has to hide behind another name tries to knock me down a few pegs, well, guess what "killer", It didn't work. People on here that have known me the year and a half I've been here, know that i am not a sexist and they know the real me, unlike you......oh and thank you, you just gave me a new "title" on here.....

    I personally have no preference, I've seen bad male and female EMT's/medics.. As long as you do your job, I could care less, at my company I've seen some of the girls lift patients better then our guys! I have seen discrimination here though, but not recently... I feel the same about race, don't care if your black, white, or chinese, as long as you can get the job done! And dont give the "my schit dont stink" attitude, no matter who you are..
