  1. I had one that was 28 y/o and told me she was miscarrying. When asked when her last period ended, she stated 4 weeks ago. The docs loved that at the ER and sent her to triage.
  2. If you have a competent partner and you are a competent medic, all you need when you leave the scene with a code is a first responder or EMT to help with the code. Set your drugs out on the actionary or within reach and do your job. As a medic, you should not be above doing chest compressions and drugs only have to be pushed every two minutes. Efficiency is the key and basic skills are a must.
  3. by the way people it only takes one paramedic and a competent partner to run a code
  4. depends on the transport service you are with. i work for a service that transports from lower levels of care to higher levels. i have to intubate patients, administer drugs, start IV's, and stabilize patients.
