  1. Hi All- I haven't posted for awhile and I don't know if I am in the right forum but I could use some help. I have been a Fire/Medic for 16 years at a paid dept. and have recently decided that I would like to get my Registry back. I called NR and talked to one person who said that I needed to complete a 40 hour refresher and then re-take the exam and practicals which is fine but then I called back to ask another question and a different person said that with my ITLS, ACLS and PALS that that would be sufficient and that I could sit for the exams with that. I wondered if anyone has dealt with this and could let me know which is right. Thanks alot!

  4. Hi all- I am brand new to the forum and wanted to jump right in with a question that maybe you all can answer for me. I have googled this without a good answer so here goes... I went to medic school 15 years ago and have worked in my home state, Ohio, since then. My wife has had some extensive medical problems and I am not sure that we may not have to relocate someday possibly to another state for further treatment. I know that each state will have different rules for reciprocity but is thaere a chance that I will have go to medic school again or do other states usually accept your diploma and then mandate either registry or challenge their state exam? This may seem like a dumb question and if it has been posted before, please refer me to it. Thanks Stay Safe
