THE G8 leaders may, or may not, notice that the north of Ireland is the only part of the UK not to have an air ambulance service.

In a place where the cardiac ambulance was the envy of the world, awaiting cost-effective studies of helicopter ambulance services is a bit like waiting on cost-effective studies of the wheel.
