  1. I wouldn't carry the death of stranger with me. I am sure I would feel some pitty in the moment for family that might be there but it would not affect me for very long. I would move on and forget about it quickly.... I am sure that many Doctors eventually get completely desensitized to death. But they still perform their jobs..
  2. http://www.emtcity.com/page/articles.html/_/articles/paramedic-concealed-sex-offender-status-r97 The guy even tried to continue working as a Paramedic after? Some people have no shame at all I guess?
  3. Well, that doesn't mean that I wouldn't do my job to try to save a person...
  4. If you are an EMT in NY and move to a dofferent State, do you have retake the course in the new State?
  5. Strangers dying have no affect on me whatsoever.
  6. You don't always need an Ambulance drivers license to get hired. One Ambulance company that I emailed said that they don't require one to hire. I am not sure if that means that they don't allow you to drive and only ride in the back or they do allow you to drive without one.
  7. Why not just retire and see the world instead!?
  8. I guess I will have to start watching my spelling around here more closely
  9. Hey I can spell! I am not writing a book so why do I need proper grammar? I am sure that the guy dying on the side of the road will not care very much about my grammar or spelling.
  10. Some places seem to have all kinds of "Admission Requirments" just to be allowed to take an EMT class.... why is that? The Hospitol I want to take it at only requires the money and a simple application....
  11. on average ? Is it usually packed ? Or not many people ?
  12. Is it usually a Paramedic who drives the thing? And are they automatic or standard ?
