Kiwiology
If he is in no overt distress then without taking the piss, put child in ambulance and take to hospital; status is three - not life threatening nor time critical/safe to wait up to one hour to be seen by a Doctor. I'm just no fun anymore am I?

Eydawn
What kind of medications do the parents take? Can we see all medication bottles in the house? With that temperature and the resps, I'm really thinking he got into a bottle of aspirin... ugh. How responsive is the kiddo with assessment questions? What's his orientaiton level? Breath sounds? Let's get a line in and be ready to support respirations with how fast he's breathing... Wendy CO EMT-B RN-ADN
chbare
No medications in the house. The family recently moved in and have not unpacked any pharmaceuticals. The breath sounds are clear and in all lobes. The patient is very agitated and not at all oriented, but is awake. An IV has been placed and the patient is becoming more agitated.
