All depends if the Pt's at the top & needs to go down or bottom of the stairs needing to go up.

In the going down scenario : no worries, give me my trusty stryker chair with the crawler tracks.

If the Pt needs to go up::: Call the fire dept. :-}

The stryker can go up stairs easily, just don't use the tracks. We always use two people on our stryker's one at the feet and one at the head whether going up or down.
