Suffice it to say that non emergent transfers out of town are not being conducted today, but even dogs are dialing 911 ffs.

There are a few drifts on the side roads...if we go out again today I'll try to hit a few for ya. Vis isn't all that bad, 400m. I've driven in fog that's far worse...it's those darn finger drifts across the road that mess ya up.

I was going to say that at least there's not that much snow and ice on the road, then I saw the last 30 seconds. Winter, don't worry, it's just 7 months a year.

What's the temperature like?

-24 now, but the snow has stopped and the wind isn't as bad. Still, roads aren't recommended for travel, but we'll go out now.

Heard your radio beeping, time for a battery change! Are you going to make it for the First Responders Conference this weekend?

Doesn't look like you came to a complete stop, let alone stop behind the actual sign. Tisk, tisk ;)

Don't know about your department but that's an automatic write up in my SOP's.

Sucks to be you, I'll stop twice next time. Do they often write you up for the way you drive in your POV?

Nah of course not. They only care if you put their own equipment in danger.
