Hi there,

As you may have noticed there has been an increase in spam over the past day.

This is due to the fact that we need to renew our spam filter. And of course they are not open until Monday for me to renew it.

For now, please just click the report button and the moderators will take of it.

Moderators, please see the Moderators forum for special instructions.

Thanks again everyone!

Anyway to set it up so that once someone clicks "report" the post disappears?

No. The only option I may have is to manually approve all posts from new people...

Gotcha. It was worth asking, though.

Thanks for your efforts and for keeping up informed.

Yeah, if you're in a fallout shelter and you ran out of real food.

What is the spam for? Anything good? I could use some Tylenol PM crushed up, reformed and sold as percocet, for my back.

Wait, there's a moderators forum??

Though I hate to leave an opening for you to fire me from being a mod, as I'm sure you've considered it....is there any chance that I can still be a mod but not have the ads? I'm back in the jungle and EMTCity takes a really long time to load here, (Sometimes 10-15 minutes on my bandwidth.) Plus I have to use a dingle or dongle or whatever it's called and it gets pretty expensive to load all of the ads.

(That's why I'm asking here instead of in a private email. It also takes about 10 minutes to load my Gmail.)

If not, I'll live with it. The benefit I get certainly far outweighs the negatives, but if it's an easy fix that would be awesome!

Mentioning the spam is in Polish, Japanese, Cyrillic (per Google Translate), and sometimes advertising search engines or viagra.Today, I had 7 EMT City "Spams" and only one actual post.
