One of those days....

I appologize for my comment then. I took it as you being condescending however I know it is difficult to get your true intentions across on the internet sometimes.

No need, It's difficult to comprehend tone and inflection when reading text. Especially when the author is as inept at conveying such minutae. :)

LOL that is funny the doctors had their heads buried in the ACLS book; see this is why a smart phone is handy ... or y'know Nurses who know little things like that; cardioversion joules, how to put in a chest tube and you don't ...

I hate it when we go to a code on the floor and someone says, "Oh good, the ER guys are here." I'll have to remember this so that I have a useless, yet witty comeback.

Wait, who is letting you out of the emergency department? We need to get you a shorter chain ...

Awesome, so you haven't figured out I hate you yet? It's working :D

Must be FMGs

Sometime the shit we have to do on the floor is more exciting than the ER.

That street goes both ways my friend, just like you.

Sometimes you just gotta ignore some of the folks like that as this is a very small community hospital. The Er dock was wide enough for him to pull the car in, but his wife did not want to take the two steps up to the door. We were parked next to the ramp wjere we needed to be and where they wanted to be. These are the kind of people we get called to on occassion where they request no lights or siren and come to the back door. I guess they think that if you do that no one knows they had to go to the hospital! Just one of those kind of days.

That's cool, the additional context makes sense. I can be a little dense on occasion.
