zoll m-series or lifepack 12

we use the zoll m-series, it seems to work well for us. ours has 12 lead capable, and we are able to transmit via our cell phones in the truck to the hospital.

which do you prefer?

we also use the Zoll M-Series here very happy with it's ease of use and reliability.

Zolls are better hands down. I actually turned down a job because they were using LP12's. :x

I like Physio/Medtronic LP12.. too much artifact in Zoll (12 lead), also all the ER's here use Phsio control so quick connect is easy to change. Had nothing but bad service here..with Zoll's

Zoll M series had a tendency to roll away on me LOL. The LP 12 just plops over and stays.

I used to love the Zoll M series but now I don't think I'd go back to them after the LP12

We use the LP12's here, but I do have a few complaints about them. #1 is the scrolling knob, and the multiple menus. The other is the weight, these things can get heavy! I really want to try out the Phillips MRX. Does anyone have any thoughts on these? I love the ability to see the entire 12 lead view at one time on the huge screen.

I'll tell ya when we were deoming new 12 leads a service I was working at we used to have a routine. We'd take the monitor, at the time either an MRL, lp12, or zoll, and try them out on a real person, run the sims, harass the rep with questions, then toss it out the 2nd story window, roll it down a flight of stairs and then repeat the first step. third, we then trial it on real calls for awhile, then return it to the rep. Next we submit comments/concerns/complaints/etc...to the comapny and they take all of the preceeding and make a choice. I'll tell ya, if you wanna have a good time and perhaps have a camera handy.....do this and take pictures of the rep..too funny!!!!!!!! anywho, we ended up with the MRL and I really liked the features and easy expandability it offered.

I have used both, personal preference is the Zoll because of the size. Here is another one. We just got a Phillips. I like it alot. It has been in my truck for a few week. I have monitored, cardioverted and defibulated with it. Works great. The display is great too. The colors can be changed for visibility. I changed it to black back round with yell and it was clear in the sun. Only drawback is the case with the pouches make the unit big and bulky. Any comments. Be safe and have a great day.

We also use Zolls, has always worked fine. I dont have any experiance with the other option however so my imput is obviously swayed in one direction.
