Transitions for NREMT Anywho, I just obtained my Paramedic in Texas. I did this by doing a transition class, I-99 to Paramedic. I was certified as an Intermediate 99 through NR. Basically I took a 48 hour Paramedic refresher and that covered as my transition class. I took that class and was able to complete my Paramedic exam through NR. No skills testing required for I-99 to Paramedic because its the same skills. If your considering going this route I wiuld recommended it. Jon Puryear is doing transition classes through his refresher classes. His transitions are only recognized in Texas. If you have questions I would be happy to answer.
